Fantabulous location, minute walk from the English Market place and close to ucc. Comfortable and make clean room, overall very good value for money

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast and the room was very clean. The Lough is close enough to the guest house. A good choice of restaurants to eat close by, like Liberty Grill that was only 5 minutes' walk away.

This hotel was excellent; information technology was very clean, all of the staff were polite and helpful and the room was comfortable and the heating was at the right level throughout (the radiator was adjustable too). The breakfast was very practiced - I haven't seen a breakfast in a hotel presented as nicely!
Nil - the only thing that was missing from the room was a toilet brush!

Handy location within a short walking distance of the urban center eye and even so with good costless parking. Allowed to check in early when we arrived at 1pm. Receptionist gave us a handy guide to Cork. Hotel is mod and has a lift. Room was nice and clean with view over River Lee. Curtains independent blackout blinds to go on out early morning calorie-free. Tea & coffee facilities in room were very useful. Nosotros knew there was no bar or eating house from previous reviews but this did non matter. Anyway no bar, no noise at night! Breakfast was fine: we had muesli with yoghurt, prunes & dried apricots, following by a full Irish breakfast with filter coffee. Service was pleasant, polite and efficient at breakfast and reception desk.
Tv was a lilliputian minor and positioned in the corner of room, otherwise no complaints.

We got absolutely no sleep all night long. Our room was beside the lift and it didnt terminate going up and down all night long. People were coming all night long and the noise from them was absolutely awful. Would never stay hither once again and would advise friends, family and colleagues non to either.

Overall, this hotel was pretty good. The room was adept size and clean and the beds were comfortable enough. The location was very good. The price was good for what we got.
No food or potable facilities onsite only there are several options very nearby.

The Receptionist on the night of October 7 was very hostile. Arrived hotel around 10.30pm, however he was hostile.

Convenient location, about x minutes walk to city center, room was comfortable and spotlessly make clean, breakfast was first-class and staff were friendly and efficient. Hotel is opposite the Cafe Paradiso, probably the best vegetarian eating house in Ireland, if not the globe!
We stayed for the weekend in a room at the front of the hotel and found information technology to be very noisy late into the night, due to people drinking outside the pub opposite. Would recommend booking a room at the back of the hotel if you're staying at the weekend.

This guesthouse has all of the facilities and comfort of a hotel with the exception of a bar. The hotel is ideal for business - wi-fi thoughout and very central. Clean and comfortable and splendid breakfast.

Staff was great, offered a number of items earlier I even asked the question. I always like to get a meal close to the Hotel merely not in the Touristy areas and they recommended a great local Pub-Restaurant, with great food. The owner of the restaurant actually greeted you at the door. The hotel was perfect, bed was excellant for sleeping and room was just the correct size, even for a European Hotel Room. Everything recent and working properly.
Not about the Hotel, but I attempted to get driving directions from the link on bookings.com and Google Maps had me going effectually in circles and ending up at a closed property line fence instead of the parking lot of the Hotel, as Google described. Not the get-go fourth dimension, or probably the last with Google maps.

Reasonable walk to urban center center. Proficient Parking and convient to a good restaurant. Desk worker very nice and friendly. Enjoyed our stay and breakfast at the English Marketplace.
